CGC research project on "The Profile of Audit Committees of Listed Companies in Singapore

The Corporate Governance Committee of ICPAS initiated the above research project which was aimed at providing an understanding of the compliance of the Companies Act and Singapore Corporate Governance Code with respect to Audit Committees (ACs) of listed companies in Singapore and a general description of the state of the ACs of listed companies in Singapore. The findings of the above research project was presented to the regulators and the media on 26 February and 3 March 2009 respectively.
